With their latest album LIVE IN STOCKHOLM, the trio has documented in a very powerful way that they are not interested in just preserving the ashes. The trio's music lives above all from the fine-grained networking of thematic structures. There is not only the collision of freely tumbling instrumental voices, but also a fractal lightness that always brings them together at the next node. It's rough and not at all cosy, but it has a direct honesty that does a lot of good indeed..
„Das Trio hält sich gern im Orkanauge auf, wo Powerzustände Luft nehmen, in Zuständen auch, wo Körperlichkeit alles Denken ersetzt. Es geht um Intensität, klar, aber vor allem doch um Intensitätsstufen.“
Adam Olschowski, JAZZPODIUM

Rudi Mahall is a legendary figure on the international jazz/avantgarde scene. As a member of Schlippenbach's Globe Unity Orchestra, Monk's Casino and Die Enttäusshung he has gained a reputation as one the great European improvisors and a unique communicator on the bass clarinet.
Olaf Rupp plays the guitar like nobody else. His highly individual style combines complex extended playing techniques with a creative disrespect for genre boundaries. His granular meta-sounds are inspired as much by the sound treatment of the spectralists as by the cluster chords of jazz-orientated piano improvisers.
Kasper Tom has made a name for himself in European improvisation and avant-garde music over the last few decades. His playing draws mainly from modern music but is also very strongly influenced by tradition and carried by his strong sense of melodyc and flow.
